I am sooooo disappointed that the crochet calendar doesn’t have stitch names either on pattern page or an index. This is seriously very annoying for the price of this otherwise beautiful work.

I had been looking for something like that for a while to enhance my crochet repertoire. But, before my copy even arrived, I was made aware that there is one glaring problem with the book, no stitch names. Is there anyway you could send us a key to the stitches of those names known to you? Just date of stitch — name?

Since I’m a member of the knitting circle, is it possible to get a good price on a knitting machine?

Do you have any video ideas? I’m relatively new to knitting and want to expand. Thanks so much!

I will never stop thanking my 4th grade teacher for teaching this craft to us. One trick I learned about the foundation row–always knit the last stitch in the back loop–this keeps the last stitch from having a whole in it–actually I start knitting the last 4 stitches in the back loop to really tighten up the gap on the foundation row 1–I liked your story–it was very interesting–I also like some of those other crafts you named such as making cards and macrame–thanks

Hello Marilyn,

Here’s what the experts had to say about your question:

You can really use whatever you like. I suggest using a worsted weight yarn or bulky yarn. You might find this video helpful: https://www.theknittingcircle.com/video/how-to-read-a-yarn-label-018474/

Please let us know if you have any further questions
Sincerely,
