Pattern: Capten Shawl

The Capten Shawl by Jen Lucas is a top-down crescent shawl with an interesting construction. Increases are worked along the top edge and on either side of the center lace panel. The lace panel features a lovely lace and garter stitch pattern that forms the points along the bottom of the shawl. 550 yards of a DK-Weight yarn are needed to complete this shawl; however, pattern notes are included on how to make the shawl larger if you have more yarn. The Capten Shawl pattern also features a detailed table on the stitch counts throughout the shawl, so it’s easy to keep track of your progress on this project.

The Capten Shawl Pattern includes:

  • Complete materials and yarn requirements list
  • Detailed written pattern instructions
  • Written Instructions for charts
  • Full color photos
  • Notes page for keeping track of your progress and/or modifications
  • This pattern is a 5-page downloadable and printable digital PDF.
