Paulette Shawl

Pattern: Paulette Shawl

Garter stitch stripes are combined with a simple lace edging for the Paulette Shawl by Jen Lucas. The shawl begins by casting on 8 stitches and then the striped pattern is worked. A garter stitch-and-lace edging is worked by following one small chart (written instructions are included for chart). The shawl is increased along the top edge with decreases placed along the bottom edge in order for the fabric to be worked on the bias. The lace edging chart can be repeated additional times, if desired, to create a larger shawl.
