Pattern: Miriam Shawl
The Miriam Shawl by Jen Lucas is a top-down shawl with simple lace and garter stitch details. The pattern begins with a garter tab cast on and moves right into the first lace pattern. With simple, short charts this shawl is perfect for customizing for your recipient. Miriam calls for 450 yards of a sport-weight yarn, which yields a shawl with a wingspan of 66”. One chart is used for the body of the project, with a second chart used for the edging. If desired, either chart can be repeated additional times to make a larger shawl.
