The Herringbone Stitch gives you a luscious thick fabric, with a right side that appears almost woven - and it is only a two row repeat! To begin, select a larger needle size than usual for the yarn weight you have chosen, because the fabric is very tightly knit. Cast on an even number of stitches. RS Row: *K2tog tbl, passing only 1 st off the left-hand needle. Rep from * across, k1.
WS Row: *P2tog, passing only 1 st off the left-hand needle. Rep from * across, p1.
Repeat these two rows for the pattern. If you want to try a different texture pattern - perhaps try the Chevron Seed Stitch.
