Long Raindrops Stitch

The Long Raindrops stitch is a nicely textured pattern but is very simple to learn - it is a variation on knit one purl one ribbing. It is an eight row repeat but there are only 2 rows to learn!
Cast on an even number of stitches. Rows 1 - 4: *K1, p1. Rep from * across. Rows 5 - 8: *P1, k1. Rep from * across. Bind off in pattern after a Row 3 or Row 7. Another common k1, p1 variation is the Seed Stitch - check it out here in this quick video.
