Join Jen Lucas, managing editor of The Knitting Circle, for a LIVE tutorial on how to make the Celine Cowlette. As beautiful as handmade shawls are, they can sometimes be difficult to style or wear. This gorgeous cowlette gives you the best of both worlds, with the drape of a shawl and the convenience of a cowl. Do you ever turn the work and knit back when in the round?
Hello Christy,
Sure! If you are working short rows into a pattern that is knit in the round (like bust shaping for a sweater, for example), you would turn the work and knit on the WS. Also, some stitch patterns are easier to knit from the Wrong Side of the fabric (for example, Reverse Stockinette Stitch is purl on the Right Side and knit on the Wrong Side), so you may find turning your work inside out and working it from the Wrong Side is better for you.
Warmly,
Jen
I like to put some kind of markers in the first three cast-ons as it makes it easier to pick them up when you get to them.
